Yea, the only people that make those are tactrix, everyone just resells. Be careful buying them from other websites as they might be selling the older 1.3 cable that does NOT support the Evo X.

Only the tactrix 2.0 supports our CAN bus.

You're cheap because you want to use the software from a company but not support them at all by buying the cable from them in order to save a few bucks yourself. That sir is being cheap. Look at it this way. Go see what ECUtek reflash will cost you and then see if you don't think the Tatrix cable is an increidble bargain. Some people just aren't happy with 70% off! <grumble grumble> I'll say it again. CHEAPSKATE.

you silly kids, but if he buys it from another source. They would have had to get it from Tactrix, so by buying the Tactrix 2.0 cable from another vendor would be the same as supporting them.

But the morale of the story is show some love to those that made this awesome product for the evo x...

They make more money if you buy direct from them and I don't think any vendors resell their product anyway. Just buy directly from them. Takes like 2 minutes online to do.

Does tactrix software have something to protect from bricking the ecu? I'm afraid if the computer crashes during a flash, the ecu will lock and never be able to recover.

They have recovery features built into the software and they also can recover your ECU if you send it in to them. Just follow safety procedures and you should be fine. I've flashed mine about 10 times already.

Dude chill the hell out. He's right though. Better to support them directly.... Also if you want to be so cheap why did you go ECUTek and now you want an OP2 cable?

Used for Evo 5-9, not needed for the X.

how about the LC-1 wide band, can you replace it so the ECU is using wideband 02 sensor for its AFR maps? or is it just a standalone that you use to double check your tune.

how about
Tactrix 3-Port Boost Control Solenoid (Mitsu)

would all 3 of these be good to buy together for a "complete" safe tuning set up on an X ?
