Those are JIC J-Force 05's. They were dedicated track rims with 275 R-Comps....until I bent and cracked one in a track accident. Waiting on a new shipment of J-Forces and those will become my daily rims.

Yeah well you make me miss CA haha. I used to live in Valencia and Glendale.....spent some time while in the Marine Corp down in SD as well....

Last year before I got my EVO, I was going to CA every weekend from June until November. Just couldn't find a job there to move back for. My uncle used to keep his yacht back in the day at Oxnard.....

Thanks man..... funny thing is, I listen to that CD all the time, not too much of a fan of their newer one. Same thing when I goto track days with the bike, I listen to that cd as well haha.

Well that is matte carbon the hood is made of. Looks like dry carbon but it's wet without the glossy gel coat. The trunk in that picture is gloss carbon and isn't so subtle IMO. Here is another look at it:

VG is APR, it's difficult to make it fit correctly. Heat gun and alot of patience, not to mention lousy sirius reception if any.

C-West scoops are actually funtional and I like em' To each's own right?

Using the GG as base, since it has a nice base tones I want, and using House of Kolor candy in shades of purple camelion and some pearl. I am going to test different candy to see what combo I like the best. Don't get me wrong, I love the GG but too many people I know have it and I always like trying different things with my cars.

Oh ya I'm sure it's functional. C-West is the best when it comes to body products I think... But ya just not MY thing. Glad you like it!

Sad that the APR design sucks with Sirus and doesn't fit the best. I love APR products!

Hm, so you're going to do this yourself? Man, wish I had the equipment/place to paint... I'd do it in a heartbeat. Don't get me wrong, the RR is growing on me, but there's always that personalization bug begging to be fed!

Friend used to do cars for Funkmaster Flex, and he is doing the paint work, I'll probably be helping with the prep work and polishing. Yeah, it's hard to leave her alone, but you just can't help it.

Had my GG MR for just under 2 weeks now and loving every minute of it.
I'm a Skyline man by heart with the occassional year or two spent in Subaru's, but the Mitsu won out this time in my mind......so much so that the wife decided to get one as well. His and hers Evo's :D

Totally stock all bar the 3M and tint, with RallyArmors on their way. Nothing else for a while, probably as winter is never too far away up here in Calgary.....spring should see some additions though.

^^damn it them are sexy. I know im sold on the grids but I really dont know what color. I almost think the gold will look good on gg but havnt seen it yet. If the wheel dude ever decided to do orange id be sold. Im asuming you all got them from the wheeldude?

I talked to Dan and he said he can do custom colors, thing is he needs one full deposit customer order to make the color and he will stock 4 other sets of that color...I think he said min order was 5. So if you place a full deposit on a custom color he can do it. I actually want to change colors...I want to get Grids in this:

So, after looking at all of these pics.... I've come to the conclusion that the front bumper add on that comes on some of the MR's looks like crap.... I'm tearing mine off as soon as possible. I think the flat black makes the front end look much meaner....

oh gotcha. I would have to agree that i'm not a fan of the chrome trim on the MR. My buddy at work has a GG X MR...and i think mine looks a ton better.

ha! that's what i thought you meant. i've considered taking mine off, just for a little more ground clearance. is there any adhesive holding the lip on? or is it just unbolt it from underneath the car, and that's it? I like the way the aero lip looks...i just dont like how low and bulky it is.

But wow, there's a lot of balance weight in that one area of wheel (pic 4) :eek: Looks to be just over 100g (if I'm counting them right).

We have zero snow still on the ground in Calgary right now, but head out West and things are slowly getting whiter.

I am still playing with the idea of changing the way it looks, but I haven't been happy with any option i've thought up (moving the Evo to the left side -- just to be different.. removing the mitsu emblem.. and a couple of others i can't remember ATM).

I like it .. and can't wait for christmas to be over so I know how much :$: i have left over to spend on mods :thumbup:!!!

Be careful with the idea of moving the Mitsu emblem.....it's not flat on the underside as it has to mould to a slight curve in the trunk lid ;)
Not that there's any shortage of flat backed Mitsu emblems on the likes of flea-bay etc :)

thanks for the advice.. if i did anything with it, i'd just straight remove it, i think it is in a great spot where it is.. i was just thinking about moving the Evolution badge to the other side .. or somewhere else

not sure if you noticed but my car is a ralliart, therefore you can get a vortex generator from this guy,,, http://www.x-factordesign.com/ works on 08+ lancers and ralliarts only.. evo x has those humps on either side, plus its little wider i think. I know that rexpeed.net has a CF vortex gen for evo x

Love that grey and black combo. Once I get wheels I will post it. I was planning on doing the gunmetal or Black RPF1 wheels but did not like the offset. I only want to do 18 x 9.5 +22. I bought the rear air dams but still need to paint them when I get the chance and hopefully get a front lip. I'm leaning towards the JUN front lip, but that may change and won't be awhile before I get them.

thanks man, the only other person i have seen with the non hid headlights do this is EvoDave. i used rustoleum's matte black plastic acrylic paint. great heat resistance and goes on super smooth. it seriously came out like it was oem. i love the way the car looks from the front now moreso than i did before. it rained shortly after i washed it yesterday so i had to wash it again today. here are some of the pics i took afterwards.

Haha and I have a SSS that I want to black out. But it just seems like there is too much black and not enough highlights. Where the non SSS with the reflective housing, instead of a projector lens, provides contrast.

Anyone got suggestions for wheel colors for GG? I got black glossy torques for my summer wheels but want to powder coat the stockers a different color for the winter mabey.

Let me know what you think

Purple....no really, I mean it. Not a :ghey: light purple/pink, but a nice metallic mid/dark purple should go well with GG.
My stockers are in for powder coating right now. I wanted to stick with a colour the pc'ing place keeps in stock so they aren't purple, but they should be fairly bright.

^I agree! A metalic purple would look so sick on our color. I was thinking about doing it too, but not quite sure if I'm 100% sure yet.

What would really look good is a black and subtle yellow combo to get the Batman look. :D .
