Theres a GG EVO 9 MR always parked at the same spot close to where I work. I never get tired of seeing it.

I can't decide between the black or red - both are equally appealing to me - red would be the easier to live with (cover up dirt) and maintain (easier to wash without marking)....so red gets my vote :)

I love the silver too, but already have a silver car I'm keeping - don't want 2 of the same colour.

This is going about as I expected, though I think red should have a little more interest than it has so far.

This is the first time i've ever considered rocking a black / CF hood!

^only problem with making it look like that is that the hood doesn't go all the way down to the front grill. Anyone have any ideas as to what one could do, excluding painting that one part.

^Yeah, the front end is one piece. You could do vinyl/tinted clearbra or a CF trim piece.
But i'd definitely put something on the upper front bumper, because that shape is notorious for getting the worst of the damage from road debris.

i've seen some graphite gray and dark metallic gray cars with cf hoods, and they looked really good.

I'd go for GG fo sho. But If the dealer dosen't have GG, then I'd go for Black or White nonetheless

Well, I've been going to Mitsu dealers lately to scope out the different colors on the Standard Lancers.

Here are my thoughts:

Red - Not sure if the red on the regular lancer is the same as the red on the evo or not. That said, the red on the lancer is weak, and is too much of a "Rose" to me.

-Silver - looks better in person, but I'm not in love.

-Graphite Gray - Eh, not bad. Definitely overrated.

I'm still looking out for a blue and a white.

I have yet to see a Black one with Enkei wheels.

You won't see a black US spec X with Enkei wheels anytime soon.

damn its neck to neck white and black.i would change my previous from gg to white.

Funny that it's neck and neck black vs white...because most people won't even have the option of getting the black.

Went to the mitsu dealer today to look at the color on the Lancers. GG is okay. Red is too "rose" for me. The blue is decent, but I'm not sure if it's the same blue as the "octane blue" (octane looks lighter), and the white looked decent.

you know what, i am flip flopping back and forth between white and black. yesterday it was phantom black, today it's white.

i may be sticking to white from here on out.

I've got a bunch of Reds with cool rims if you like to see 'em :D

If you've seen the actual cars .. the most striking and really nice colors are surprisingly .. the blue and the white !!

The red is abit dull and looks like the normal lancer GTS .. the black looks ..plain

The black is by FAR the hottest, but you can only get it in MR trim. :(

Depends on where you are and the trim level you want.

In Canada it seems like you can get the black in GSR and MR. However, in the USA only the MR is available in black. The MR could be as much at $40K in the USA.

I was talking to some Vancouver area dealers and was told I could get the MR in any color...never said the same about the GSR though! Shrug...have my name against a Phantom Black MR Premium already, port delivery date of mid-March yay!!! :-P

Actually the red colored one up close in real life is pretty good. It ends up being a lot deeper than photos depict.

I am not getting a new hood. I just found that pic. I like my stock hood and it being as lite as it is. I dont know why you would need a carbon fiber hood only for looks.
