I'm thinking of buying a G-Tech RR, wanted feedback from any current owners.
Also, is there any way to get a discount out of those guys? $300 is a lot for something that doesn't make me go faster.

I've taken care of that... just ordered it.
Review to follow in a week or so. So far, they get a C:
"Pricing Category" in the checkout screen suggests there is a discount to be had that I'm not getting.
They don't offer any warranty unless you buy direct
They don't repair anything after 1 year from purchase, even for a charge(!)
They charge for shipping on a $300 buy-direct partMan now that I wrote it up I feel like a sucker... hope it works! The thing can detect RPM through the cigirette plug on 'most cars', so at least I can let everyone know if it works on the Evo X.

Hmmm I'm not sure I am convinced the GTech sucks on the basis of one run.
I would not expect to see perfect times at the track because the track has a starting line, an accelerometer has when you start moving. Wheel horsepower should be lower on an accelerometer than a dyno due to drag.
My friend has an iPod Touch so we can compare. I think the iPhone result in the video has to be a fluke.
Anyway, I want the G-Tech to compare before / after upgrades. So if it reads consistently, I don't care as much how it matches up to a drag racing clock. If it can't do that, I'll be pissed!
