The thing can detect RPM through the cigirette plug on 'most cars', so at least I can let everyone know if it works on the Evo X. I would not expect to see perfect times at the track because the track has a starting line, an accelerometer has when you start moving. Wheel horsepower should be lower on an accelerometer than a dyno due to drag. My friend has an iPod Touch so we can compare. I think the iPhone result in the video has to be a fluke. Anyway, I want the G-Tech to compare before / after upgrades. So if it reads consistently, I don't care as much how it matches up to a drag racing clock. If it can't do that, I'll be pissed! | |
