Saleen has released another pair of hotted Mustangs under its new Heritage Product Line, designed to commemorate the longstanding relationship between the tuner and the iconic muscle car. Saleen used the runway of the retired El Toro Marine base to unveil the 390hp (291kW) H302 and 580hp (432kW) H302SC models, two vehicles which draw their inspiration from the late sixties Boss 302 Mustang.

Both cars feature an all-new, Saleen built, 5.0L V8 engines equipped with 5 axis CNC ported cylinder heads, a forged crankshaft and con-rods, as well as forged aluminum pistons and a set of high flow fuel injectors.
The naturally aspirated version delivers a healthy 390hp (291kW), while the intercooled and supercharged version develops a supercar-rivaling 580hp (432kW) and 711Nm (525lb-ft) of torque.
The cars also get a custom Saleen Racecraft suspensions tune, 14in vented brake discs with four-piston calipers and forged 19in wheels wrapped with Pirelli rubber.
The base price of the H302 is set at $56,999 with the H302SC slightly higher at $74,999.

very nice but i think it's overpriced for what you get. i'd take a GT500 over either

Can't touch a GT500 for under 60 right now around here due to the $25k dealer markup for a limited production vehicle...

that's crap. it's a damn ford. it's a great car but i hate dealer markup. still though $60k for a GT500 is better than $57k for the 390hp version of this thing imho. sure the 500 isn't as pretty but looks aren't everything

What's the compression ratio on that thing? Is it direct injection?
