I want a nice sound for sure.

The AMS cold air intake looks amazing but it is damn expensive ($600)

I would suggest drop-in filter if you don't mind the boring looks. Once you get the car tuned, I heard from a tuner closed box intake consistently yield better results than open air intake.

I have this. Looks and SOUNDS AMAZING. You hear the air bein pulled in if your making boost at all. And the factory blow off recirculating into the intake you can hear that too. You will get a lean fuel CEL though, although I've not had any negative effects from this. I hope to get a tune soon though.

I love my aem, but AGP makes a CAI. I believe the MAF is in a different location than stock and causes some problems, but not 100%.

I was looking for an air intake too but this thread is just confusing me all the more, should I just stick with The Works air filter I got? Do I need to reset the ECU(disconnect the battery) if I install it?
