For now I would like to sell everything together.

where are you located?

I am in Williamsburg VA. I checked through UPS, and with the ground service cost of shipping across the Country is ~$15.

Just in case anyone was wondering about shipping costs.

Also, I just want to add that the car without a doubt pulls harder with this intake installed....especially in the upper RPM range. Now that I am back to stock the differences are noticeable.

Back to stock, eh? I hope you don't miss the sound TOO much! Maybe to help the sale: I only get lean code on 2+ hour road trips and doesn't seem to cause any problems.

How difficult is the installation? When you say 'near mint' what exactly do you mean? Did the CEL begin illuminating right away? What payment options do you have in mind?

Very easy install.....maybe an hour if you take your time. I am saying near mint because the intake is basically brand new, but not new....if you get what I am saying. I looked it over really good, and the filter and main pipe are virtually in the same condition as they were when I opened the box from AMS initially. The heat shield has some marks where the screws go, but that couldn't be helped. Not that this is a big deal because once you put a screw in it upon installation then its covered. Trust me on this the entire package is in very good shape.


My cel was wierd. Sometimes it would come on after a few miles and other times it would take a week or so to come on. I was told by AMS directly that it wasn't a big deal as the X is so rich from factory. Also, they stated it wasn't a wide spread problem, but they were aware of a few case here and there on the P0171 code coming up.

well the way I see it is my intake is about $100 off what you can get it right now for. Personally I thought alot about the price and I certainly think it is fair for a part with ~1,000 miles on it.

I have heard a number of different answer's to this, but I can tell you the difference is enough to be noticeable as I said mainly in the upper RPM range.

Thanks I'm currently waiting on my Works Drop in to arrive but I remember how much I loved the sound of my AEM CAI in my Celica. I know this isn't the CAI but without a box I'm sure it still sounds great.

With the AP and our intake you will throw a p0171. The intake is designed to make the car run a little leaner. If you are placing the intake on a stock evo ten it would be perfectly fine. However the the access port already having leaned out the car as it is coupled with the intake the car will run to lean.
