I recently discovered www.yelp.com

Basically, it's a site that allows people to review local restaurants and post their experiences and opinions on them. Definitely worth a look if you plan on trying somewhere new.

ROFL, this is how long it takes West Coast ideas to migrate eastward. :) I've got a friend who moved to San Francisco last year and she is a total Yelp devotee.

Apparently you can do it for all business, not just restaurants.

Looks like a good site, I will have to start using it.

There is an awesome app for the G1 called Where and it lists all kinds of things based on location and includes Yelp. Very handy for traveling.

My family's restaurant is on there. The problem with consumer reviews is that some customers are ignorant.
