Thats right our popular Inline manual Boost Controller and Electronic Boost control Solenoid are on sale.

PERRIN Manual Boost Controller (MBC)
Only $69.99 was $99.99 WOW!
The PERRIN manual boost controller is a simple inline device that allows the customer to adjust boost simply by shortening or lengthening the Boost controller body. Some boost controllers use a simple adjustable bleeder, while this can control boost, these generally provide a falling boost curve. These systems can't adjust for more volume of air as the turbo starts to push more air. Some boost controllers use a ball and spring only, which again can control boost, but can be a little spikey (Boost spikes are bad!). The PERRIN Manual Boost controller has both built into it!
KEY FEATURES
>Simple to install and adjust
>Progressive wound spring
>Ceramic ball

PERRIN Electronic Boost Control Solonoid (EBCS)
Only $99.99
In most turbo applications a solenoid is used to bleed boost pressure off the hose that actuates the wastegate actuator. In these applications the boost control solenoid has 2 ports, and in and an out. The PERRIN EBCS can be setup like the stock solenoid, to "BLEED" boost from the system, but that is not where the EBCS has its advantage. The PERRIN 3 port EBCS can be setup to "block" pressure from getting to the wastegate actuator. This makes for a more responsive turbo and for much better boost control, not to mention higher boost levels are possible with proper tuning. In this case 3 is better than 2!

Now included with each PERRIN EBCS is a female harness plug, that plugs right into many OEM wire harnesses. This means no cutting of wires, just simply unplug the OEM one, and plug ours in! Simple as that! Along with this convenient plug we include a set of instructions to show how to install the EBCS in nearly every type of turbo application out there.

EBCS More than 200 psi.

MBC It is an offset of wastegate spring pressure which is at least 40 psi.

Hope that helps!

Since the evo x has two factory soloniods wound you need to buy two in order to still use ecu boost control?

You can use the MBC on any setup with the EVO X.

The EBCS makes more sense (and only one is needed as it replaces the OEM setup) for those using the PERRIN tune or similar tunes from others.

Looks good. Why would you need the mbc if the boost can be controlled via the oem ecu and a protune?

Thanks for asking! The MBC works REALLY well with a proper tune. You can contact our tech dept at tech@perrinperformance.com or Chris.Cone@perrinperformance.com
