Finally they will have wifi in air. Im prettystoked because I fly alot. Unfortunately JetBlue doesnt fly out of BWI so I have to drive to DC. But hopefully other carriers will take the same ideas into their practice. Heres the article.
On Tuesday, December 11, JetBlue will offer free Wi-Fi to passengers as part of a test of in-flight Internet access. Passengers with laptops and Wi-Fi-equipped BlackBerries will be able access Yahoo-customized email, instant messaging services, and their corporate email on an A320 plane called BetaBlue. If customers react favorably to the service during the course of the trials, which are set to last several months, JetBlue will install the service on more planes.
