WRX makes the list? I guess the WRX, assuming you do not mind the looks, could be upgraded with better suspension to make it more fun to drive. Is it the penny pinchers STI? Given that Canada will not be getting a 'base' STI (ours will come standard/bloated with Nav, leather, etc.), could the WRX be turned into a faster car? It will not have the same AWD system and differentials of the STI, however.

I guess what I really would like to see is a sportback Lancer Ralliart AWD with ~240 hp and ~240 ft.lb. That should make this list in 2009!

I could never bring myself to drive a Pontiac. I'd actually prefer the Sky if it had similar or better performance.
