anyone know if thats normal?

constant clicking from the turbo manifold at idle but doesnt get louder when driving or reving
also you can only hear it with your ear close to the manifold.....

never noticed it tell one night after launching the car at 3k and taking it to redline(7000) 1st and 2nd......

Injectors I assume. They are freaking loud even after moderate acceleration! You should be fine.

i thought it was that at first, but its a whole different sound, and it comes from directly from the turbo manifold (sounds like metal clicking) :-(

edit... not sure about the high pitch part, but the clunking/rattling could be the heat shield

tightened and also try'd taking off and still hearing it.....sounds like its from the inside of the turbo manifold....i need x-ray vision anyone have any x-ray glasses

i do.... but it only works on chics lol. naw i sure hope that you get this sorted out

Try touching various parts with a metal rod or something (so you don't burn yourself) to see if it effects the sound.

haha i got the chic x-ray's already....even try'd using those on the manifold didnt work :-(....thanks i hope it does soon too...nothings effected performance wise but im just scared and :confused:
