Well if I were you, I'd get bigger injectors, a better fuel pump (walbro 255), and maybe even a larger fuel rail. Some cams would be nice too. You may also want to look into getting a clutch to handle the massive amounts of power you'll be making

maybe an exhaust if you dont already have one? boost gauge, oil catch can, motor mounts, injectors, cams, fuel pump, bov depending on what kind of boost you run, maybe meth? the list can go on...

What is the minimum I have to do to use this turbo??

Well you can run it with stock everything but you won't get much out of it. I ran an FP Red with just a UR O2/downpipe and test pipe for a bit. I'd recommend at least that and a full exhaust plus ECUflash and someone to program it for you. That will get you rolling. FMIC, IC piping and perhaps a fuel system upgrade are all recommended though.

get some injectors and a fuel pump. with everything else you will be running, your car will be a beast.

i am getting the same turbo, i think.

From what Garrett says its a direct bolt on and all you HAVE to buy is adapters for the oil and water lines.
But... you know everyone will be cranking the boost up so I would say increase your fuel system ability by 40% or so. Also maybe look into water/meth injection that way you don't have to run high octane all the time.

by high octane you mean 93oct? i hope you mean 100+ because you should run 93 all the time anyway.

You should, but these cars can run on 91 and thats all most people have. What I ment is with upgrading the turbo and cranking the boost up your either going to have to dump in crazy amounts of fuel all the time or set the car up to run water meth on boost. If your tuned for it you can make your car pretty effecient as a daily driver.

800cc or better. 950, 1000, 1200, will all work great

I'm going to run 1000's since if I don't get what I want out of this Red I'm going to the AMS GT35R kit.

what are you looking for out of the red?

i think on about 24 psi with pump you will get like 430-450 whp. maybe.

for me, I am shooting for 450whp, and i think its doable on the stock turbo. with cams and 110oct + water/meth . I also think i will be able to run a 10sec 1/4 with those numbers. and thats what I am shooting for.

soon, I will be the first and only stock turbo x in the 10's "crosses fingers"

back to your RED goals...

I think if you were to tune it on 30psi, with 110oct you could make 500+whp ....

so, the question still is, whats your goals?

You should have no problem hitting that on 93. That hta is a beast.

I would like to hit 450 WHP on pump no meth. I'm doing cams as well and perhaps a ported head.
