Yeah but we pay through the nose for it, top spec Evo works out at approx $76,000 U.S at current exchange rates.

At least the price bumps between the HP stages is reasonable.

I wonder what they do to give it the extra power...

btw, i'm still excited for the actual dyno numbers, i don't believe the official 291 hp for the usdm models one bit!

If its anything like previous FQ models they change the filter, add intercooler hard pipes and change the back box and lastly tweak the ECU.

The 360 model is as above with a bit more ECU tweaking and new fuel pump together with leather seats and bits of carbon fibre thrown in to justify the price a little more.

The UK are testing the SST model with similar power hikes too, just to ensure the auto box can cope, so I would guess by the end of 2008 it would be ready at a cost of approx £40,000.
