So, guys, from all i read so far about the Access Port, if you have further bold on upgrades that are not permitted in the ready AP maps for Stage 1 and 2, you need a custom AP tune.
My question is... i read somewhere in the posts that you can get a custom AP map e-mailed to you from a AP tuner after contacting them with info about your upgrades.
Is that true and if it is has anyone done that or i will need to drive a tuner personally adn get my car tuned there?
Thank you in advance for the info

yes you can load tunes from other tuners or cars.. however it will not be 100% safe as not all cars behave in the same way to mods.. If you want custom, best to pay for some custom time with you car on the dyno.. otherwise stick to the generic maps.. they are usually in the safe zone to cover most variations in cars...
(I'm doing this, (getting AP), loading a generic map on then get a custom map done when my cams go in).

got it, so does it mean that after a tuner tunes my car, i will have this custom map saved on my ap?

sorry missed your reply. that is affirmative... you can also load the factory/generic tune on there and revert to it whenever you need to, the AP can hold multiple tunes and load one of your choosing.. it used to take 5 minutes to load, now it apparently takes less then 2-3 minutes to load.

yeah i think so. sandman has(not sure) 2 custom maps, one aggressive and one less aggressive.
