: Do we have any hard numbers?

Do we have a 0-60 time?
A standing 1/4 mile time?
Nürburgring lap time?

I think I saw a 0-60 estimate floating around, but I don't remember where... so any help with these numbers would be great

MOtor Trend got a preproduction GSR with a 5 speed manual and they posted 5.4 sec 0-60. they also tested a IX EVO and that posted at 4.7 sec. the quarter mile was slower too i just dont have the numbers. Hope this helps!

I've seen quarter mile times range from 13.6 to 14.0

My mates just got his X, i stripped out the passenger seats, replaced the glass and filled the boot with expanding foam. Then i took it to my strip and managed a quater mile in 11.4s . I'll post some vids as soon as my mate gives me back the cam lol

Impressive! How much weight was removed? Why was the boot/trunk filled with foam?

Anyone saw 0-62 in 4.7 sec on the brit website?

I guess FQs are faster?

If you choose the 360 in the dropdown box it goes to 4.1, for the:

2.0 Turbo Lancer Evolution X GSR FQ-360 Manual

Yes, but I assume FQ300 is equivalent to GSR in N/A?

If so 0-62 in 4.7 sec is pretty fast, then it should be around 4.5-4.6 from 0-60. I know 0-60 doesn't show everything about the car, I am just using it as a reference.

Now that's impressive and more like it :)

Pity the FQ's are available for the UK only :(

There was a mention of FQ kits being available with full warranty for Countries outside the U.K. I hope this is a fact and not fiction....

And by then, Mitsubishi would have not release the pricing yet :mad::mad:

I've seen 5.4 and 5.2 from Road and Track. 13.8 1/4 from the 5 speed manual.

And I atleast know the TC-SST is a full 2 seconds faster around the same test track the EVO IX did for comparison the times are in the article but I dont have it on me if its not Road & Track its Probaby

Note that it was JDM Evo X vs USDM Evo IX. JDM evos has always been faster than the USDM counterpart.

They brought a USDM EVO IX To the Mitsubishi test rack in Japan....Seems kind of a waste of money....

anyone gone near a dyno yet with their stock evo? (probably too early to ask?) *Aside from AGP!! :)

I'm still waiting to do mine in 2 weeks. The dyno at the local perf shop is being dismantled and a new one built :S very frustrating.

The newest car and driver rates the car at 4.6, 13.3 or 13.4. Edmunds and road and track both rate the car at 4.9 and 13.6. So I'd say that the initial tests of 5.4 and 14.0 were clearly faulty because of the fact that the ecu's had "control gremlins," as mitsu called them. They were pre-production models, so those tests don't count for anything other that the skidpad, IMO. The new tests are solid, and relatively consistent. So clearly, these tests are on par with the fq 300, which is supposed to be the exact same car as our GSR. Maybe the UK has less strict emissions policies than we do here, so the car might have a less restrictive exhaust, or the tuning is less emissions friendly and more aggressive. There is a lot of little variances between the cars from country to country, but at the end of the day they are all basically the same car with a tiny bit of modifications. Hell, I'm starting to wonder if the US version is detuned to 295 hp on purpose to make the FQ 330 and FQ 360 versions easier to achieve the power that they do. For example, the car is running so horribly rich according to all that have tuned it, and that adding just an intake gains like 25 hp just from leaning out the fuel mixture properly. This would make it very profitable for Mitsubishi UK, as they only have to adjust the intake system and maybe add a hair of timing or boost and voila, the FQ 330, and a healthy 5000 dollar increase for adding 200 dollars of parts to the car. Not a bad day's work, don't you think? Either way, from the kinda results that AGP is getting out of the car, I have little concerns about the straight line performance of this amazing car.

Daam, so the car is stripped out? You sure there is no turbo upgrade because that is a bit skeptical.

Edmunds had 0-60 in 4.9 seconds for the GSR and 5.2 for the MR. The STI had 4.5 I believe. This was using a radar detector etc. There is a video out there I believe.

Here is a start that I just googled:
