I recently purchased my Evo 2 weeks ago with 10 miles on it. I have since had a custom system installed. The SSS package was removed by a professional installation crew, ie not a Best Buy or Fry's crew but a Alpine/JL dealership. The system was never turned up past a setting of 20. The subwoofer will be uninstalled this Friday.

The included items are the component fronts, tweeter and mid, the coaxial rears, subwoofer in oem box, amplifier, head unit, and oem dash kit with the regular deck controls.

All wiring for the system was cut out so the buyer will need to get the wiring kit.

I am asking $350.00 for the package. I accept Paypal. Buyer pays for shipping and Paypal costs if using a credit card.

what did you go with to replace the stock?

Hey, did you have them install sound deadening material in your doors? if so, what did they use?

I had them go with dynamat for the entire car. I had all the factory stuff tore out. Overall weight change was actually about the same as factory with a 1000% improvement in sound dampening. I will upload some pics after I get out of work.

For the deck I went with a Pioneer F90BT system. I am thinking of pulling it out and goin with the Alpine W series deck though. I went with a Scoche deck kit and there is a thin gap at the top of the dash kit. I knew about it prior to installing and it isn't noticible unless you really look but knowing its there is enough to make me want a JDM dash kit instead. Other bad thing is I need to get a spacer made for the deck since it is recessed pretty far back into the dash.

Andrealltrac sadly the box hasn't shipped yet. I will get pics up once the system is done though. I am going with the box that WickedCAS.com has for sell. The fiberglass box takes up less space. My local audio shop is also going to be removing the back pannel that houses the window washer fluid and battery along with the metal plate and installing a false wall of 1/4" mdf that is ported. They did a install prior to mine and the end result was much harder hitting bass that didn't get absorbed by the back of the car. Apparently it also helps with the rattle that happens when running 12" subs. Overall the weight stays the same as well. It might add 2 lbs.

do you know how one would install the amp into a base gsr w/navi?

Is the navi unit the one from Mitsu or an aftermarket? If it is the aftermarket there is a harness that you have to get through Metra: http://www.installer.com/item/display_item.php?it=MITO-02

This bypass lets the aftermarket HU turn on the amp. After this you simply hook up the audio inputs to the amp and it does the rest. The amp itself installs under the driver side seat where Mitsu might already have the connectors ran. I do not know if the HU wires are already ran down to there but its a good posibility.
