What is the p90x challenge? I do normal deadlift/squat/bench.

a work out set up that uses "muscle confusion" as its main theme.

seems pretty intresting.

I got it. It is a really good workout! I stuck with it for a good month, and had good results for that small time period. When I say good results, I mean I leaned up in my shoulders, arms, chest and face. I started having work conflicts, and slacked a good bit for the next month, so I am going to start over again next week. If you stick to the plan it will lean you up fer shure. Also, I havent exactly ate great lately, but if I did it would really help.

I did it. It does lean you out, but upon returning to the gym I've notice a significant drop in my max for almost every lift.

i did it for a few weeks and felt pretty damn good, but then work shit came up and had people visiting and i pretty much got lazy. eventually i plan to get back on it. if anybodys interested just download the shit, its like 12GB, no need to pay for it.

i was wondering if the nutrition booklet helped?

i downloaded it, so i dont have that booklet.

how did you guys eat when you were doing p90x?

just finished day 2 today.

omg plyometrics is a workout. i had to take breaks every 15 mins. ><

The nutrition book was helpful to develop a plan, or to follow the recipes if you have enough time. I was lazy, so I just followed the portion sizing and ate pretty much the same thing for breakfast, lunch, dinner every day. I extended the fat burner stage a bit, but when I started to see too much loss in size I moved on to the next phase.

All in all, I would not worry too much about it. Just eat healthy and depending on what your goal is, eat more or less than you usually do. Should be easy enough to come up with your own nutrition plan with out the book.

Oh and if you think plyo was rough, wait till core synergistics...

i haven't tried it personally, but a buddy of mine is on it now (he's about 60 days in), and it's dramatically changed him. he's leaned out a bit (lost about 15 lbs) and it even leaned out his face (which a lot of people have a hard time with), and while he's not huge, it brought out a lot of the lines on his body. I have to say, I am by no means a fan of any of those "we can change your body in 3 months" programs, but this thing does really seem to work as long as you stick with it.

Im on the 3rd month of the p90x, i went from 238 to 215 now. I think its an awesome workout, even though me and my buddy are not doing it to its full capacity, as in we are not doing yoga and plyometrics and such. Ive started to see the definition in my arms, and my chest is starting to look like a chest now instead of 2 small manboobs lol. after we are done with it we are gonna take a month break and than do it all over again 100% of the way and see how it comes out

I'm in month two and love it... would suggest it to anyone who doesn't like the gym or have the time to just get to the gym, its simple at home, and don't really need much.
