Ok guys, many of you have been waiting very patiently for our Twin Tip exhaust to be released. Well it is finally here. We will have 25 Twin Tips ready to go in a little over a weeks time. As we did with the Wide mouth Downpipe I'm starting a waiting list.

It costs nothing to be added to this list. All we ask is that you are serious about purchasing. This way we are not giving away a spot in line ahead of someone that genuinely would like to purchase this piece.

Cost on this is going to be $1099.95. This is going to perform just as well as our single tip cat back exhaust picking up 15+ wheel horsepower. The difference here will be the ability to change the exhaust note by simply removing a v-band clamp and replacing one of the plates. The weight of the exhaust can be changed as well by removing the muffler and running a straight through 3 inch exhaust for the track.

ugh. i probably wont be getting it for awhile. thats pretty expensive but its only a couple hundred more than the others. That is unless you wanna sponser me and give me things or drastically reduce the price. *wink wink*

Back in december i called you guys and someone said they expected it to be 700-800 (just slightly more than the single), i wasnt expecting 1100. Ive been waiting for this for a while, but now i have to decide if the extra 400 bucks is worth it over the perrin.

i want this bad, but that is a hefty price. ams quality is second to none though.

No after the 25 we will be producing more shortly there after so you should not have to wait. I'm not sure who quoted that as none of the sales staff knew how much it was going to be until today. The exhaust itself is very expensive to produce but i think its worth it. You can change the way your evo sounds based on your mood and its v-band!! :rock:

no the only difference would be the weight of the system. That's the best part of the system, you can keep it loud or quite and it still makes the same power!

Sounds better then it looks. Little pricy for just a cb but I would still buy it LOL

Sorry with the open house coming up this weekend i dont think I will have someone available to take more sound clips. As for the tips it can be done but it is VERY time consuming. Our fabrication department spent weeks trying to get the jig just right.

The tips of the exhaust will have the AMS logo. as for the test pipe there isn't anything i could do there.

Honestly, if a NA car company offered a comparable vehicle in the Evo/STI group, I would probably have considered it just as much. Just because something is JDM doesn't automatically mean it is quality,(Iv'e seen alot of japanese aftermarket stuff, especially in the late 90's civic craze, that was absolute crap) and just because something is made in NA doesn't mean it is shit. Each product must be judged independently. Obviously your tastes don't line up with the look and sound of the AMS twip tip, but that doesn't mean it is garbage. Look at the pics man, that is high quality fabrication.

exactly. the new civic si's are made in canada. well except for the rr's and mugens(dont quote me on the mugens tho). Still a great car but i could really care less where its made. As long as its quality im set.

That's the whole point of the exhaust. You put the plate with the largest hole in the exhaust and the gas flows mostly through the unmuffled tip. Add the plate with the smallest hole and there is less resistance going through the muffler than the plate so the sound is quieter.

I'm pretty upset about this exhaust. I've waited almost a year for this to be released and I really dislike the tips and the price. I should have just bought the Buschur exhaust a year ago :(.

There really isn't much behind it. If you don't run any plate on the passenger side there will be difference between the two tips. This really would only be noticed on cold days.

I'm not ready to spend that kind of cash on a dual tip that will block the tranny coolers in development as well as not be a true dual tip. Are other potential customers worried about these things as well?

Love the exhuast guys another great product. I have two quick questions?
1. How much does this exhuast weight with the muffler on and how much with the muffler off?
2. does the V clamp with the different drop in work like the older borla exhuast did with the corvettes and Trans AMs?

agreed. When i started the car i told myself it was ams or bust. i guess i will be saving up for awhile but i will eventually get it. I like the stockish clean tips. Very nice but pretty expensive. I cant wait for a new clip to be posted.
