: Evo X Custom Tuned
saytheb 05-10-2009, 11:58 PM hp: 306.9 @ 5900 rpm
tq: 327.1 @ 4500 rpm
Custom Tune for 91 Octane (Highest pump easily accessible sadly), Bushur catback, Test Pipe, AEM Intake, Bushur UICP.
Interesting side note: I had 3 pulls in the MR. 1 in Normal, 1 in Sport, 1 in Super-Sport. Here's the breakdown:
Normal: hp: 302.8 @ 5500 rpm, tq: 324.8 @ 4600 rpm
Sport: hp: 297.9 @ 6200 rpm, tq: 312.4 @ 4600 rpm
Super-Sport: hp: 306.9 @ 5900 rpm, tq: 327.1 @ 4500 rpm
(Sorry for crappy quality.. waiting for actual files to be sent to me).

DRIV4K16 05-11-2009, 01:14 PM why is max hp only at 5900 rpm?
ak47m203 05-11-2009, 02:09 PM Normal: hp: 302.8 @ 5500 rpm, tq: 324.8 @ 4600 rpm

Super-Sport: hp: 306.9 @ 5900 rpm, tq: 327.1 @ 4500 rpm
i saw this in evo m. so do you think those mode from normal to s sport has something to do with hp.i mean if stock we only got 295hp if we are in s sport mode or this is just random cause the normal mode has more hp than sport.
GO ON 3 05-11-2009, 02:11 PM Nice power, good job!
saytheb 05-11-2009, 03:14 PM Since the torque was pretty consistent for RPM range, I'm assuming the HP was jumping around due to the shift points and the dyno operator. I'd guess if all the runs were done in the same mode, the HP would be at more consistent RPM ranges rather than sporadic as-is.
DRIV4K16 - Where should the HP be at? I figured 5900 is somewhat high up there, though I haven't seen many "low" hp dyno sheets on the X's.
saytheb 05-28-2009, 04:10 PM Just an update, took the car to a drag strip here.. the altitude is killer (5,860 ft.), so I'm sure I could get lower. Also, this was the first time at a drag, so my initial R/T was in the pits, though I did get down to .338 later in the night
R/T 1.101 (Best: .338)
60' 2.204 (Best: 2.027)
330 5.817 (Best: 5.746)
1/8 8.771 (Best: 8.745)
MPH 83.52 (Best: 83.88)
1000 11.33
E.T. 13.475
MPH 106.80
boostin20 06-05-2009, 02:58 PM ^Not bad!
saytheb 06-05-2009, 08:41 PM Thanks!
I actually went back this Wednesday. Only difference was dropping Royal Purple for some good old Mobil 1, new K&N oil filter (no problems so far), and adding some Water Wetter to a new 30-70water Mix (which will be drained for new radiator/winter).
Sadly, my first two runs were pushing 13.8 ET.. BUT, I prevailed and snagged a good ol 13.3 ET at 104mph. My 60' was either a 1.0 or a 2.0 with a .3~RT -- I can probably get to 13's if I get my launching down secure. I am also only hitting 21.8 PSI in S-Sport where I can usually hit 25-27PSI on the highway in Normal mode. Bummer..

\You are hitting lower psi in S-sport because it's keeping at higher RPMs where the turbo is maxed out to low 20's
