: Plugged in Tactrix cable, SES light is now on. WTF? HELP!

So i got the tactrix cable and plugged it in, turned the ignition on (not started the car) it downloaded the data, unplugged the cable, went inside checked out the maps (very cool stuff), went back out, started the car and the SES light is now on! is this normal? What do i do now? Thanks for any help :)

Try clearing DTC code....

For some reason MRs seem to have CELs (SST error & communication error) after you read or write to/from the ECU. That is why Colby added the Clear DTC function in this release.

i was able to clear it with the PCMscan, but it said unknown code. Strange.

That's because it's an error specific to the EvoX.

Will Evoscan read/clear SES codes/lights? Or any other programs that arent $100?
