I have read many threads on how to load MP3's onto the MMCS hard drive, but I was wondering if anyone has found a way of pushing MP3's directly via CD/DVD. I would much rather use a big DVD to load all of my music than to have to remove a drive each time, but from what I have read thus far there is not a patch for the MMCS that allows for this yet. The MMCS has to rip the music from WAV or WMA format to native MP3 for storage on hard drive.
Any info would be great...

I didn't realize it could rip WMA. Are you sure of this?

Not 100%, just something I read online on that one. I personally don't own enough CD's to even bother trying ripping, which is why I was asking about the MP3's.

As far as I know you can't load MP3's onto the HDD.
The MMCS stores music in its own format so it will not be able to store MP3s on the hard drive.

Yeah... agreed... no MP3's on the MMCS. Its a proprietary file type and can only be ripped from audio CD's. MP3 CD's and WMA cannot be ripped to the drive.
