Hey ya'll Im newbie to this forum but I had a Question that I want someone to answer....

If I'm bout to place and order right now for the Evo X how long to ya'll think it might take to come in? Like I just want a GSR with the sight, sound and spoiler package and I want it to be white. I'm going to a dealership soon and they said I have to put down $3,000 and I would be second one for and order. So guys, what should I do???

2nd on the list is pretty good, but 3000 down is too much, since I only put down 1000 in Canada.

Yeah, just tell your dealer that everyone else is putting a $1000 deposit down, and maybe that's all you'll have to do to. Good luck!

Being that you are in Louisiana, I'm not sure what your dealer is going the charge you, if you were to put any amount of money down. Find out the following:

1) Is your deposit refundable?
2) What price are they guaranteeing you?
3) Can they supply you with an R order number to specify that your order is legitimate?

If all of the above is good to go, then why not just throw down the $3k? What it comes down to is that if they can offer you the same car, at the same price and the same service level that I can do it, I see no reason not to drop down the money, unless it is not within your financial means to drop $3k. Nothing wrong with that. Some people have extra change to burn, others don't. If you'd like, you can even use my deal as leverage to get them to drop the amount of money required on a down payment. If they respond, "Get it from Maywood Mitsubishi then," then I would think twice about doing business with them.

Oh, and it will be approximately a 90 day lead time from when your order is entered into the factory lineup sequence and when you'll get the car on site.

God I still gotta wait 90 days even if I want a white with the sss package??
Can't they just find one in my region or something?
