: Perrin Performance is Awesome!

I just recently purchased their: Polished Turboback Exhaust, Silver Front Mount Intercooler, Turbo Inlet, Shorty Antenna, and PIAA Foglights. I must say, the quality and fitment of their products is like no other; A+

Everything fit perfect, and i must say that i LOVE the way the Evo sounds. Sounds deep and rumbly at low RPMs cruising. It's not obnoxiously loud at all, but the sound is noticeable. Once i go WOT and the turbo fully spools up, the car sounds like a beast. You hear the turbo screaming and the exhaust just sounds badass. Cruising on the highway ~50-65, you barely hear the exhaust; i'd say a tad louder than stock and completely unnoticeable with the radio playing.

The car reaches full boost a LOT faster (the UICP helped as well), probably by 3k RPM i'm at peak boost.

The whole install took me some time, mostly because i did everything by myself (with the exception of a friend stopping by towards the end to hand me tools). I managed to install the catback with the front end up in the air on ramps (don't ask me how... but i did!).

All in all, i'm a very satisified customer, their prices are reasonable and comparable to other manufacturers, and I hope they release more cool stuff soon.

Next on the list: Perrin 3-port Boost Solenoid + Protune

Is it me or does the Perrin IC not sit straight? It leans a little to one side?

Perrin makes some top notch products with the R&D to back up their claims.

I think it's more of proper adjustment. I'm sure if you take enough time and play around with it enough, it'll sit straight. Originally before mounting it, it was crooked as hell, now it's just more on one side. I'll attempt to adjust and fix it one day... right now i'm too lazy and i don't need anymore battle scars...
