ShomesomeSho 05-28-2009, 11:22 PM For the past two days, I've been getting readings of very high oil pressure. My gauge is indicating over 145 Psi of pressure at around 2k rpm and up. I haven't changed anything except for putting on my SSQV and I'm VTA. Im about 500 miles away from hitting the 3k miles oil change interval. Could my sending unit be bad? I'm open to all suggestions. I say was because the new one has now started doing the same thing. Has anyone used this gauge without issues so far? The test I did today was with a mechanical gauge not the one in the dash. If its not raining tomorrow ill take the intake off and check the drive shaft. It seems the contacts like to corrode and made the gauge display all sorts of funky readings. I guess i got a spare now. | |
