My clutch went out around 35k on my EVO IX. Mitsu installed it for free, but I had to pay for a clutch.

Yeah, mitsu is well known for the garbage they refer to as customer service. You will very likely not get not get a new clutch for free. Plus stock clutch is total sh!t anyway. Just buy an aftermarket one that will last. If you don't plan to modify your car then don't go nuts buying a real expensive unit. Only buy what you need.

Moved to Evo X Transmission.

As for whether or not you can have them pay for the clutch, that will probably be tough to pull off, though it's not unheard of. How many miles do you have on your X?

My clutch went out after 10187miles... Got it changed to a Exedy Evo IX clutch and it feels 10 times better then a new OEM clutch.
Running 372whp.

Just had my first clutch slippage today which was kind of crazy. Car still stinks 3 hours later. Getting a bit worried.
