Guessed the only thing that we overheated that day was the brakes :bowlol:
The only point of contention was we should have switched off the cooler and see if it overheats ..:duh: that would have been the icing on the cake ..
just some numbers for you guys to digest ..
The SSTF temperatures will go around 80+ C for about 1 lap and as you push on .. the temperatures will go up slowly until around 100+ ..
At 100+ I believe the stock cooler is overloaded .. because once you exceed 100+C the temps will just shoot up to 120C+ (registered temperature ..actual gearbox cut is 145C) and the COOLDOWN icon will appear
with the GOODSTUFF in .. you see the same temperature increase .. BUT once it hits around 90+C .. it just hovers around that .. it goes up to a peak of 100C and then drops back to around mid 90Cs
Got another SST without the cooler BUT runs waterspray to cool the stock cooler .. both similiar setups and he did run into a cooldown scenario for a while ..
Seems like both the water and the additional cooler works great :godance:
GO SPREAD THE NEWS BOYS!!!
now we need the clutchpacks
Sorry for guys who doesn't know .. I did a DIY setup .. http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16061
