Ford GT with both supercharger and twin turbo on a dyno machine. Most people would be very happy with this cars stock abilities but the owner of this car just made this car twice as nice.

Nice my buddys dad has a GT and I couldn't even think of how fast this car would be. The stock one has wheel spin problems as it is.

I'm not that familiar with the way the Ford GT is setup, but wouldn't the supercharger limit the pressure of the turbochargers feeding air into it? I can see that the supercharger is a roots style belt-driven unit, but with two turbochargers feeding it, wouldn't the pressure applied by the turbos over spin the supercharger or be regulated by the maximum RPMs of the belt driven pulley? Sorry, but I'm not too familiar with the way Ford's supercharger is designed.

I second this man's question. I don't understand how this would be working together in a benficial manner. I'm sure it can, but I would just like to understand how.

Apparently it works like this...

Usually on setups like this the blower bypass valve will open once the turbos spool, putting the blower in recirc once the turbos are in their powerband. This saves parasitic loss to the blower, and keeps the IAT lower. The blower is only kept in the circuit below the boost threshold RPM for some grunt down low. After that it is transparent.

I see, thanks for the info. So basically, the supercharger is just in use to keep power in the lag zone?
