Hey guys I got a quick question.

I will be gettin a retune for my EVO X in a week or so. I have currently SRI, Xtremeboost o2 dump, AMS test, Buschur Exhaust, UPIC. I am adding Stage 2 kelfords, ets 4" front mount, 800 CC death wirsch injectors. What boost you think I could run safely? and what is the max boost this turbo can put out efficiently?

if your using the stock boost control. I dont think you could go higher than 26psi. But i think you have the aem tru boost. Personally i wont go any higher than 26. Most people here seems to say around 24-26. Including me (24)

I have the tru boost and in other threads I have been reading you can run up to 28lbs safely? any truth behind this with the supporting mods I have?

You should get with one of the tuning guru's. Tune will make a huge difference. Meth would help out with higher boost also. Be careful.

My car is already tuned, im going to get a retune for the cams and what not. But if everyone is saying no higher than 26 well than im prob gonna keep it at that i dont need problems.

yea just stick with 26psi. BTW your car is f******* loud, especially when that shit open dumps lol

Im going to be running 30ish Psi in a week or so:) But with 1000cc's/Cosworth cams and E-85 awesomeness...

But if you are on pump, 25ish is the norm I think, I am at 24.5ish right now. But it depends on your tune and the gas you have. If you have 93 you can probably do 28 but again your tune has to be right, probably less timing to run that boost. Better safe than sorry I guess:) Good luck.

haha well i do have 93 readily available aparently its not in other states? I think im gonna have them push it a lil maybe 27 or 28 see what my tuner says and see what he can get out of it but have it be safe too. So if he says stay at 26 than that will be the final number. E-85...race gas? i know c16 is race gas just havent learned to much bout the E-85 stuff

i dont know any one running c16 as a daily driver lol

c-16 is probably closer to 14 a gallon right now lol

e-85 is 105oct. cheaper than the premium we get out here. but theres not many station having e-85
