On Oct 1st he will be doing a show in Edmonton and on Oct 2nd he will do a show in Calgary.

I actually really like Joe Rogan, you can hate him all you want however there is no reason that should or would offend me. Everyone is free to have an opinion^^

Have you ever heard his standup though? He's super funny... Not only that but he's a very intellectual dude who generally has very interesting things to talk about (I'm not referring to his UFC commentating) check out his forums on www.joerogan.net or watch his podcasts, might change your opinion of him.

Besides all this, he is hands down the best MMA commentator currently in the business... So yeah, why all the hate guy?

I dont argue he is funny as hell... he makes such bad calls while commentating, doesnt know half the sub's someone is trying to use and makes up new names for some that already have names... and so annoying hearing "oh, he was rocked" as his only explaination when someone gets hit, even if it didnt hurt.

He isn't highly trained in judo he's only a green belt... he was a national tae-kwon-do champion (black belt) and has a brown belt in jiu-jitsu under 10th planet... He is also a bad ma fa ka when it comes to using these martial arts, I've seen him roll and train dude absolutely knows what he is doing and could probably do very well if he wanted to compete.

I've watched every single UFC to date, period. He rarely makes bad calls as far as what the fighter is doing or going to do and in comparison to other commentators he is much much better. I don't ever remember him making up names for moves???? Not sure where you got this.

I've watched most of Joe Rogans podcasts which are completely un-candid and I've not once heard him talk trash about other fighters, he is one of the most respectful guys I've ever seen, when he does have a negative opinion he completely explains himself and gives reasoning for his thoughts.

another quick point about the weird names for moves... as Weebles mentioned Joe trains at 10th planet under Eddie Bravo. Eddie adapted traditional jiu jit to more fit mma with his nogi style, along the way there were positions and or moves the traditionally didnt have a name so they named them... in Eddie's own words some of the names are pretty stupid but we are american and we want every single step named so we did. (not an exact quote but you get the gist) So might explain why he may call some positions a name that most wont understand.

Ex. i was watching some rubber guard vids the other day trying to expand my jiu jit knowledge and at the point when you pull high guard and wrap you leg around the guys head is called new york?!?! i mean wtf is that but hey thats what they named it.
