Just thought I would share this.....I recently purchased the whole set (3 app. sponges, 3 microfiber towels, tire shine, wheel cleaner, interior detailer, and after wash shine(wax type stuff)) for real cheap on an As Seen On TV ad. I used it today and holy shit this stuff really works. It took a good 2-3 hours to get done but it was worth it. I usually get stuff and then when im done its like "that didnt do anything". But I really encourage you guys to get this. I know that alot of you have your own stuff that you have been using for years but this stuff is cheap right now. My camera is dead so I cant get pics but just take my word for it. It looks so good that this is the stuff that I will continue to use. Oh and the tire/wheel cleaners, they have cleaning brushes that you can detatch and use seperate. These things cleaned and shined to perfection. As soon as I sprayed the wheel cleaner on I could instantly see the grime comming off. I just got back from a 17 hour drive to and from Portland so there was alot of crap on the car. Anyway I just wanted to share my experience.:D

Good to know. I've used the ICE detail spray and soap and I liked it...good stuff.

I always thought there clay bar can't be good since it's like a liquad of some sort...can't be as good as a real clay bar.

Ill have pics the next time I wash and detail it with that stuff. I may get some before the day is over but the weather here just got a little nasty. Its already covered in dust anyway. Oh and the other thing that I thought was weird is that the kit I bought didnt come with soap for the wash. Just thought that was odd

It may not be a good as real clay bar, but it is way easier to use. The results leave the paint feeling almost as smooth as using an actual clay bar with putting half the effort in.

Good to know. I was thinking the same as Evolved thats why I didnt get it. I may give it a try now

I use the ICE on my car and really like it. Alot easier than the NXT and you don't have to worry about getting it on the black plastic. But the Tech shine is even easier to use for a quick shine.

I use ICE. It does work well. And no, the claybar has a liquid that you use to prep the paint. Then you use the bar. It actually comes with a 100g bar. I havent used it yet, but will soon.

Me too. Its just to easy to use. Plus the detailer after a quick wash almost makes it look like wet paint.

I have to disagree with you bro. Ice is terrible. I have been detailing cars for years and the long term effects of using ice rather than a traditional wax outweighs the simplicity of the kit.

From what it sounds like, you spent just as much time using it as anyone else doing a full detail to include washing, stripping, polishing, glazing, then wax. The idea of ice is to make it easier for the layman to detail their car.

I hope you did not use the product on your black exterior pieces as well like they state you can. It causes it to oxidize faster if the vehicle is left in the sun. If this occurs, try some MOTHERS Back to Black to remove it.

O'really? I've been using the polish with success for a month now. Damnit. I just paid another 20 bucks for their damn claybar kit.

The ICE products are pretty good, I have used nearly all of them. They quickly get your car looking good; fast application, easy removal. In my experience, everything I used didn't have much durability. Though I still have much of my original bottle which contains the "old formula" of their liquid polish. Apparently, there is a newer formula (it's written on the label) that offers 3X durability of the original, so then I suppose application would last ~3 weeks to my standard and use conditions.

They had liquid clay bar for a while, but I think they replaced it the liquid clay with an actual clay bar kit. My guess is the product has a similar effect offered by a cleaner wax. This is about the only ICE product I haven't used.

For what it's worth, clay bar is easy, use spray detailer for lube, or soapy water. I don't see why anybody would make such a fuss about using a clay bar.

Lastly, my favorite part about ICE, I noticed their paint stuff (paste polish, liquid polish, spray wax, and spray detailer) all would temporarily fill-in/cover-up small/medium scratches in clear coats.

Fill-in/cover-up would last about a week, but by then I was ready for my next wash and another application of those products. Not a permanent solution, like paint correction with polish, but not a bad intermediate step. If you polish enough, you won't have any clear left, so at least ICE gets you to a wet look without having to polish away your clear.

All in all, not a bad option for frequent users that want to save a bit of time.

Can be applied to all exterior rubber, plastic and vinyl trim to restore color and shine without leaving white residue.
Unlike conventional waxes, ICE™ can be applied in direct sunlight or on a hot surface without streaking or wax build-up.
A single application will provide extraordinary shine however, multiple layers will further increase depth of gloss and shine.
Formulated with light stabilizers to protect your car’s finish from the suns damaging UV rays.
Complete kit includes a custom applicator and microfiber towel.

Now I am using Meguires Carnuba plus. I really like the results of their products but I still have the turtle wax ice products for a quick detail.

Whoa, hold on a minute. The thread is about one of the most mundane and uneventful products found on a supermarket shelf, and you introduce an excursive LSP with one US dealer whose cost starts at 20X that of Ice? This is just the positioning. Now, for everything else. How is Swisswax not beaten, and which SW product, exactly, compared to what and on what bases?
