Anybody knows? If 2009 productions starts around March or April and 2008 Evo X will arrive here around February. I am thinking of waitting for 2009 model for better resale value later on.

Well, production is irrelevant and release is what you care about. If I had to guess, the 09 won't be out until December'ish.

generally speaking manufacturers release the new model year a few months before the new year.

so - for instance 2008 models of most manufacturers were released between sept. 07 and dec. 07. some new/special models are released later as is the case with the evolution and STi.

as far as production, if they release the 2009 models in oct/nov (which would be my guess) then production is probably going to start around july/august.

but Dino is right, it doesnt matter when they start production, what you are asking is related release date. IF I told you they are producing the 2009s now but arent releasing them for another full year, would you care?

Thanks for reply, I thought 2009 EVO X will release in March/April, becasue Lancer was release on Mar 2007, and it was label as 2008.

That wouldn't make any sense. I won't even be getting my 08 until april...
