Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I would like to introduce to everyone the September Monthly Evo X Member Contest! This month's theme is the most disgustingly dirty X contest. Essentially, whoever goes out, plays in the dirt/sand/mud and gets their X to be the dirtiest girl, wins!

My car is pretty dirty right now, maybe I won't wash it this weekend and continue the filth.

Right outside my place is a high traffic road which is udner construction so in 1 day my car accumalates an insane amount of dust on it.

Honestly, I'd love to. I have no qualms playing in the mud :shades:. However, it would be very controversial for me to enter a contest that I am running, so I won't enter this one or any of the others... even if the prizes are great :)

Well I gave in and went for it. While I was out there an Evo 9 actually joined in on the fun haha! Never seen the car around before until tonight. I was AMAZED at how fast our cars are in the mud/dirt it's freaking scary :rock:

I took my car out today onto one hella tight dirt road. Unfortunately it was mostly water so I'll head out again tomorrow to see if it's got any muddier. I'm pretty close to weeble's level. I'll take pictures in the morning since it's dark here.

My car is sitting in a hotel parking garage .. its "filthy" compared to when I keep it in my garage at home :( freaking travel for work has made my X dirty with no ability to clean it myself!! I may have to go to a car wash *shivers*...

EDIT: It is not "dirty", just got a bit of dirt/dust on it... I'm used to washing the car once every 2 weeks!

I just got back from finishing up. Got my buddy to let me into his field, had him back up his F-250 duely to my hood and spin the tires. I'll post pics later tonight.

Okay, I finally got time to post these. It's been quite the adventure, to say the least. I started yesterday around sundown when I realized it had rained earlier in the day and a dirt road on my buddy's property would be somewhat muddier than it normally is. So, around dusk I decided to go rally style down the damn thing. My buddy was following in his jeep in case I got stuck, but everything went smoothly. After school let out today and all of my students had gone home I decided to go back to the dirt road again, since the mud would have congealed a little better. The dirt road stuff is the finer, white dust you guys can see and pretty much dominated the rear end of my car. I thought it was funny that you couldn't even tell I had a Greddy SE on the back.

On the way home I get a call from a friend of mine who had seen my plea for mud on my facebook page. He says they just tore down their old hog barn and that it's a hot, sticky mess of mud and pig sh*t and I'm invited to come play. My reply? "Alright." We go flying around it a little, but it's hard to get it to fly up so he pulls the F-250 I mentioned in my previous post and sends mud and I'm assuming a fair amount of hog crap onto my hood and up to my roof. Mission accomplished.

For good measure I then drove out to the county foilage dump and did some donuts. That's where the pics are from. Once that was over I immediately went and washed my car, where I decided to take a video.

Those are deer whistles. Like Talon said, they scare deer away if you're going over 35 mph. The disadvantage to living in the country, especially rural Ohio, is the abundance of deer that leap out into the roads. They may look lame, but they've saved the evo a few times. Seriously, nearly every car around here uses them and they stop deer before they even get to the road.

As for the paint, it's all good. I hosed it off immediately after leaving the dump. I just need to give it a nice wash, clay bar, and shine in the morning to bring it back to its usual luster.

That dirty car makes me sad :(

When you come from an area where mudding is more a ritual than a bit of fun on the weekends you know the places to go, lol. Plus it was fun going out in the mud. Makes me really want to get an older STi or get some sort of Euro-Ford (maybe a murcer XR4ti?) and start rallying. lol

^^^ Deadline's September 25th. Honestly, the Evo can handle the mud and it's an absolute blast to drive off road in this thing. Just find a nice, flat pasture full of cow poo or something and go nuts. I only picked an old pig pasture because that's the biggest industry in my area. I mean, we have a Pork Festival each year and we elect a Pork Queen.

But seriously, even if you don't want to back a truck up to it, at least go off road a little bit. It's totally worth the car wash afterwards.
