Does anyone know what the latest version of the Mitsu navi is? I have asked two dealers and they have no clue.

I'm not sure of the date or anything, but I saw this part number on EvoM awhile back:

MZ360194EX

My dealer had no idea either. I asked if there was an update, and was told yes, there was. I then asked "well, can I have said update?" and was met with a blank stare.

It inspired confidence in their parts department, if nothing else ;)

I'm told it comes as a dongle to plug in somewhere, as well as a DVD of map updates.

The current "update" installs maps with a date of 2007.

Yeah my system says version 2007 too. I guess I was hoping that a new update was available, being that we are almost close to the end of 2009.

Feel lucky yours is 2007. Mine is from 2006, I always hold my breath when I use it toget me someplace new...

Dude, I like the way your Evo looks in your avatar.

It's just all white with no Evo logos. Just the Red MR. Looks so sweet haha.

Updates are released at most once a year and the current one came out around April. So the odds of there being a new one out next month are about the same as the stock market hitting 20,000 tomorrow. It could happen, but not likely.

Yeah I hear ya..I'm used to Garmin that emails me when new updates are ready. Plus they crank them out on a regular basis and normally don't charge three figures..

First the actual maps with street names have to be updated. Then the turn-by-turn instructions from point A to point B need to be programmed (in three languages) . And the "When possible, make a legal U-turn" CYA politically-correct instructions need to be added...

In any case it's more than a two week job for one guy.
