Are you still running that car on the stock boost control system?
What are you running for a waste gate?

prodrive EBCS, and a 20 psi actuator

Are 1600's really necessary for that psi? I thought that 1000's would work even on a 35r at 32 psi????

E85 is a lot tougher to push then non E85 fuel.

prodrive EBCS, and a 20 psi actuator

The 20 psi actuator is the upgrade from FP correct?
Is the ProDrive just a solenoid upgrade?
Is that a ported Red?

E85 is a lot tougher to push then non E85 fuel.

Its because the fuel contains about 30% less thermal power than gasoline by volume. E85 so has its up and downs, if I were in California I would be running it. Since I have access to 93 where Im at gas is a better option.

I'm in California and want to run E85. However from what I know there are only 13 gas stations in the entire state, none of which are even 40 miles from me. You would seriously be running E85 in CA? Also, how is 93 a better option than E85?

E85 in orange county is a pita, I happen to have a "reserve" of it, I also drive 4 miles a day so a tank lasts me like 1.5 mos.....

For CA u need Meth.

I was under the impression that there were more E85 stations in Cali than there were anywhere else.
For myself 93 is a better option because my car is a daily driver and with a 13 gallon tank I already spend enough time hitting the fuel station, I couldn't imagine how frustrated I would be getting 30% or so less milage. Plus for me I get all the benefit of E85 by using Meth injection when I want to have cooler combustion temps and keep knock at bay.

Well the good news is that southern cal is getting 55 new E85 stations within the next 6 months. In my opinion I'd rather fill up more on fuel than have to worry about adding more meth into the car. Another plus of E85 is that it's cleaner both for the engine and the environment. Not too sure if it's really cleaner for the engine but according to GST Motorsports I believe that's what they're finding.

Question - as far as performance goes, which is better?

How do you know about the 55 new stations? Is there a website that talks about this? I would love to see what the plans are for Norcal.

E85 is certainly better performance wise than normal gas... especially the quality gas that we get out here in California.

There are 38 stations in California, mainly up here in the Bay Area and the epicenter is Sacramento because of all the state vehicles. There are 6 stations in Socal. ;) :(

Don't we wish. The midwest has thousands. Wisconsin itself has a 120 stations. Illinois has 188
