Okay guys keep hearing about disabling the ASC when launching GSR. Tell me what is the difference in pushing it once, holding it for 3sec, holding switch up with it and holding it for 6sec (Just what I seen people talk about on forums) and also are we still waiting on tarmac/gravel results on which is better launch in. Sorry for jackass question better never seen a true answer to it all so that why I’m posted this thread, by way I do understand clamping force in different mode (that’s what I read lol) just did not know how impacted times.

It really dont matter. I dont care what anyone tells you. Just push it once and your good to go. But if you really want to hold it down to give you peace of mind then by all means. I ran my best time with just a push

One push Traction control off, and one more push turns EBFD(Brake assist off)

That must be confused with the MR launch process.

You dont need to hold it for 3 seconds, just the 1 touch off is all you need.

holding it down for more than 3 seconds turns everything off... but you dont need that.. one touch will do fine.

Can we get some response to which is the better traction mode to launch in? Tarmac/gravel/snow. Also which mode has the highest clutch clamp force? I never knew what the differences between the modes were.

Tarmac will clamp the "soonest" when exiting corners and whatnot.

I don't know though that the mode will actually effect how the car launches, but I'd assume that tarmac would be the best for on tarmac. And then, who launches in gravel or snow?...

Actually, when it's time to go to the track, my wife is out the door before I am. She's "Hurry up, I don't want to be late."


To OP: I don't know about drag racing but at AutoX, Gravel and one touch off on the ASC works best for me.

I could not tell anything between the two. Did not hook up in first in both modes. I did not try snow lol.
