Well today went wash the cars today and went got my X and was at car wash waiting in line and what has to pull beside me 2007 Shelby GT500 Black with red stripes (will say looked and sounded F'ing good) guy gets out walks quarter machine by my X and kind laugh's little well I just kept my mouth shut (For once) and he came back by and asked me why I need that shine IC on front my car. I said "just help out little" he laughed again little bit and ask him what was funny he said " people that waste there money on 4 bangers are not to smart" Well I laughed and said "hmmm really" We have some roads out here that are private areas closed roads (his mods Pullys and exhuast now these are supercharged too) and asked him if he wanted find out what 4 banger can do. He reply "why would I want to waste my time" So after talk BS with him he said "okay after we wash are cars we will go out to closed area and play little". Well we Lined up and his buddy flagged us and when I started my 2-step he kinda looked at me crazy LOL! We hit it and pull him about 2-3 cars out of the hole and by time I was going in 5th he was still 1 1/2 cars back but was pulling up on me but we are out of room lol. He came back looked at my car with my child seat in back (he was not with me) and said WTF is this. Just laughed said "just 4 banger man" started laughing. Man did that ever feel so good.

Well those cars stock run average 12.5 in 1/4 but he had some mods done so yeah somewhere in there. I know there no way he can launch like me on street tires. I dunno im hoping run low low 12 tomorrow 11 be nice but I doubt it. But ill have my video camara with me so video will be posted tomorrow sometime.

what bov do you have vta, and do you have any issues with it?

Shelby is a major pain to launch. I have a buddy with a pullied and tuned one. His best times are in mid 12s on drag radials. They have major issues with the live axle breaking under more than stock power according to him. The live Axle also makes them a bitch to launch. He says his prior generation was significantly faster in straight line with less mods and power. YEs they can run 11s easy, but very hard to hook up.
