ok so i decided im going to buy my car at the end of its lease so im going to start modding it now. Im going to start with a intake and a new exhaust. probably just going to build my own and have my friend weld it. Road Race Motorsports has an intake and an exhaust should i just buy from them or build it myself i was looking at the prices and it will prob be bout 40 $ cheaper to do the intake myself and like 150 cheaper to do the intake but i dont know if it will perform as well...thoughts?

Unless you're a really good fabricator, I'd buy parts for it.

well my friends and i bought the parts and put together an intake and an exhaust for my friends 2006 Mitsu Eclipse things a beast now. I like how his came out and his was real cheap to do.

WORKS offers a drop in air filter and axle back combo for less than the price of Road Race's axle back exhaust!

on a side note... how / who did your tail lights? or is that a PS?

lmao holy very old thread, I ended up buying the RRM intake but did my own custom cat back. But as for my tail lights I tinted them using VHT nightshade, there not perfect but im happy with the end product.:rock:

they look real good man.. .any more pics of the tails? I just cant STANd the evo tails or the RA tails at all... I wanna do a custom set w/ led arrays... but i need time and patience which i dont have now..
