Ok, this thread is for all of the EVO X MR owners. I know there aren't many of us that regularly drag race, but I figure this would help to show people what the MR is capable of.

Post your time slips, and I'll update the thread, and we can keep track of the 10 fastest MRs in the world.

Well, I have around 380 whp and 330 tq. I have put over 30k on stock clutch daily driving, and Launced it over 30 times with the fp red and it just starting to slip on the last run. That's why I only had a 108 trap speed...had to let off 3/4 track. Getting the SSP clutch installed next week.

That confirms it. There is no point of swapping the upgraded disc till 30K.

No special tune.I'm no tuning expert, but Basically I'm under the impression that the computer is limiting the amount of tq it allows the car to make.

jsr, did you use launch control to achieve that time? Im under the impression you did?

Used launch control, and had it in snow mode. I've tried every single way to launch my car. I have tons of time slips, and i write down what mode I used to launch to compare my 60fts. Snow mode is the only way I can get a 1.9 launch. Gravel is better than tarmac by 2 tenths just about every time but still would yield a 2.1-2.3 which sucks.

Hey Guys,

New record for up here ...12.84@107.02 (here...12.84@107.02)

Took my girls car to the track....car weighed 3650 with me in it. What a heavy beast.

Has Intake, exhaust, maunal boost and tuned by me around 26 pounds on pump gas.

Her clutch was slipping and all I could cut was crappy 1.9s.

Car has a lot more in it. I love the Xs,

The time slip on the right is a 1/8 mile slip. The only reason I am posting it is to show the 1.7776 60' time. I don't run Diaqueen in my trans. I consistently get 60' times in the low 1.8s since switching trans fluids. Ironicaly my fastest 1/4 time is with a horrible 60' and terrible reaction time. One of these days I'm going to get it all lined up. Hopefully this weekend I will have better times. The slip on the left is my best 1/4 time, and it pre-dates my trans fluid change.

Best I could get with stock fluid, and trans is a 1.9 something. My transmission is on it's way back from SSP getting upgraded clutches, steels, fluid. I'll have an 11 second pass coming soon!

Also Edmonton is at 2200ft elevation which = ridiculously shitty 1/4 mile times, I think id be good for around a 12.6 or 12.7 at a lower elevation dragstrip like atco. But, no excuses!

Nice 60ft....IMO anything under 2.0 for the MR is pretty good. And yes I'm sure if you were at lower elevation you'd have much better numbers.

Of course. The prize would have to be baller though, because I'm not getting any more mods till X-mas, and I don't feel like gutting my car to get the amount of weight off it would take for me to get down there.

Hi Guys Thought you may be interested in this? on the weekend my wife ran our Evo X MR at a Regional 1/8 mile dragstrip she ran a new PB of 60' 1.721 330' 5.079 660' 7.907 and mph 84.20. our car runs a Specialty X Turbo back exhaust, Ecutek tune and Willall SST fluid. on the dyno it has put out 218kw at the wheels. We have only run the car over the 1/8 as these are the only locally available tracks (400km away) unless we drive to sydney (1400km away) for a full 1/4 mile. lokking through the previous posts it appears that we have the quickest 60' so far. on the weekend we ran it in Gravel Mode with launch control. can anyone varify which mode will give best results. our intention was to try all three at a test and tune prior but this was rained out. the car now runs consistant 1.7xx 60' times.
my wife does resonably well at these bracket style event running fairly consistantly she has even come runner up at an event last season but pulled a Cherry in the final. the key is to leave on the second to last Amber to cut a good light because of the built in delay from the SST.

The time slip isn’t the best since they didn’t actually give me a proper slip for this run. They told me the printer for the little slips jammed up, but because it was the best time I had run, I went up into the tower and got the paper that had my run on it.

I ran a 13.46 @ 100.45mph with a 2.07 for my 60'. I was running the stock tires at 32psi, 94 octane gas and using Snow Mode (not sure how or why but I run better times in this mode).

The track / temps were;
- 15C degrees (59F)
- Elevation of 3,280 feet (1,000m)

Modifications;
- Harmon Motive intake.

This next season I hope to hit 12's and I will have the following;

- Harmon Motive intake
- AMS Downpipe/02 housing
- Speed Circuit test pipe
- Perrin Cat back
- ETS 4" intercooler

- Perring EBCS (not sure if I will go with this or not.. still up in the air)

I'd be interested only if I can apply SAE correction to my 5800+ ft altitude runs! :thumbup:

I forgot about this, this was a very old MR run from last year that was on evom.
13.475 @ 106.80 (5860Ft Elevation, Wastegate mod (3 of 4 possible cranks), SCR Performance tuned, Test pipe, Buschur Bullet cat-back, AEM intake, Buschur UICP, boot pill removed, 91-Octane
(Supposedly using a converter to get an "estimate" for what I'd run at sea-level gave me 12.58 @114.42. I doubt it compared to the other MR numbers in the thread)

Since then I've now custom tuned it myself for 29psi, added a Bushur 4" intercooler, Mishimoto radiator, and running E85 with DW1000cc/Walbro255. We will see what I get when the track opens up again, but I don't think I'll be anywhere NEAR 12.2.

We had a group tune special late last summer and we had 3 Evo X's coming down, one being an MR trapping 12.3 @ 112mph full weight with:

I don't think its impossible at all. My car is very conservatively tuned, and I have run 12.5s on multiple occasions, on 93 octane. A good race gas or E85 tune, and an MR can be there. Look for some MR's to get gsr quick come spring.

Here's a bunch of them all at different times and such. Sadly I am missing a bunch of slips.. not sure where they are... but I did have SOME 2.0 60'.

At my dyno on 5/09 (I did 1/4 on 5/27) I was showing 306.9/327.2 at the wheels with STP (I dyno at about 5000', and race at about 8000' haha). This was basically stock except for exhaust, intake, and a partial tune. My runs in october were actually slower due to de-tuning the car because of some P1235 issues. Since then, I also have a new intercooler and radiator that results in almost 0 heatsoak.. whew.

1) 60=2.204, 330=5.817, 1/8=8.771@83.52, 1000=11.330, ET=13.475@106.80 - 5/27/09 @ 6:18pm
2) 60=2.258, 330=5.875, 1/8=8.824@83.88, 1000=11.360, ET=13.512@106.16 - 5/27/09 @ 6:48pm
3) 60=2.027, 330=5.746, 1/8=8.745@82.12, 1000=11.337, ET=13.515@103.81 - 5/27/09 @ 7:29pm

I have since switched over to E85. My numbers sadly dropped when I did this since I started over for tuning.. I have steadily retuned, and these are the numbers I am at now:
Low reading dyno start: 309.7whp/324.8wtq
Low reading dyno now: 343.2whp/359.5wtq

I have muchmore tuning to do, and hope to squeeze out a LOT more performance before the track opens again.. I am gunning for low 12s up here (should be about high 11s at sea level)

Ok, so I got invited to go to the drag slip this weekend. So whats the best way to launch this car. I know snow mode and turn of the ASC all the way.

But more about the timing of the lights and giving it gas. The car won't launch if you hold it very long at the 5k rpm, right?

So in regards to the lights and launching, what are the steps.

I've never dragged before so this is all new to me.

The time doesn't start till you move so I wouldn't worry bout that too much, but to answer your question I would let off the brake as soon as the last yellow light lit up. There's hella delay in the SST trans.

Are we talking about Qickest Et or highest MPH here? If we are going by MPH i trapped a 111.78 before I did Most of my work.

I was just going by the lowest 1/4 mile time. I have some slips were I ran 112.5 mph but wasn't below a 12.2 time.

I ran a new best at 2200ft elevation with the Green, 12.9@111mph. No idea why im not faster,the catch is my 60ft on the stock turbo was all 1.8s, 60ft with the green is all 2.2 :( Ill bet if my 60ft was 1.8 now id be easy mid 12s!

earlyer today i was around 12.76 ... 12.72 ... and my best / and my last run was a 12.65 .

heres some pics of the times i did ... after i was knocked out of the competition , i did a couple of test and tune runs and squeezed the 12.65 :godance:,
the car was fairly consistent with the 12.7's

the last 2 slips , it shows i have a faster time then the oppenents, however he hit the end of the track first :duh:....
it was a " heads up " competition .
it was harder to time my launch as the tree was harder to judge for this kind of competition , ( look at my reaction times):o

however , i had a lot of fun , as this was my "first time " to the track .

Wow dood, you have the fastest evo, I like how half way down the track you were doing 600+ MPH and slowed down, to give the ralliart a chance :D

Is this thread still being updated? I see some of the more recent numbers haven't been updated into the top ten. I've run a 12.82 and a 12.85 with my MR. I will post slips this weekend after I head back to the track Friday night. Cheers

Ah, I have about 380 WHP and 330 fine. I have the stock clutch more than 30K of daily driving, and it is 30 times more Launced and family planning in red, it just started to fall in the final run. This is why I have only one speed trap ... have to put 108 3 / 4 track. SSP clutch install for next week.

Hey maybe even high 9's or low 10's like all the crazy Alpha GTR's that are killing the competition left and right:clap: Undergroundracing's cars are still unbeatable :( They are doing a Ferrari 458 Twin Turbo and making Top Secret Upgrades to quickest Dual Clutch set up on a production car on the market.:workout:
