Haven't recieved mine, but I have to deal with a shotty ford/jeep/chrystler/mitsubishi dealership here that can't ever get me in when it's convenient for me. Idk what I'm going to do.

I don't fee like even replacing it, however I'm sure replacing the line with some rubber fuel line would good fix as well.

I just had mine replaced when I had my clutch replaced from another recall.

I talked to the mechanic and he said that part of the replacement only took a few minutes and easily accomplished by anyone who ordered the part. So if you just order it and take your car to a mechanic approved bu mitsu, they SHOULD be able to charge mitsu and you can still get the recall done for free.

No, I wouldn't know why they would do anything to my ecu. They are just changing a part of the lines and reinforcing the brackets.

I went to Roseville Mitsu in Roseville, Ca

The recall will still have to done at no cost unless you have a fully upgraded fuel system then you wouldn't need their parts...Its not warranty work they are performing, rather a defect that is required to be done at no cost by law.

Any BTW EVOOOO, the dealership, depending on their level of NAZI-IZM may document your mods when you take in the car for the recall. Or They may void the stock parts effected on the spot, which from what it looks like in your sig, is going to be everything!

And also, BTW EVOOOOO, you're tapering to 16 because you're running the stock turbo and doesn't flow much air in the high end, which is hot air for that matter. GT35R would solve that taper real quick.

It's safety related, they will do it regardless unless you've gone down the path for changing the fuel rail or parts relevant to the fuel line rectification kit that gets installed.

Hey i am not sure if I am the only one they had to do this to but when I went in to get my recall done they had to mess around with my ecu. I can't tell you exactly what they did (sorry) but just letting you know they did do something to mine. Again I'm not sure if they will do it to yours but just letting you know.

Only thing that would make sense for that is a reflash...either because you never had the new reflash done or because the kit needs updated software due to new hardware....good question though as far as if a new reflash is required for the recall...which wouldnt be listed as part of the recall, rather warranty work.

I'm thinking about being honest with them about my mods (some of which are very obvious like the exhaust including dp) and just asking them not to touch my ECU.
