I notice a oil leak under my car lastnight so i took it to the local dealer this morning. The tech looked at the car for almost a hour when the service manager came into the waiting room where i was and asked me to walk back to the car they had found the leak. He told me they think it is the rear main seal leaking and that because i have a after market clutch in the car he did not think the warranty will cover it. I bought the car used and was never told the car had a after market clutch. I know the early 4G63 motor had aissue with crank walk when using a large clutch has this crossed over into the 4B11?? It looks like the clutch is a ACT from the yellow pressure plate.. Has anyone had this happen to your car???

I've had my L-shaft leaking for a few weeks. I took it to mitsubishi and they tried to tell me my intake and boost gauge (they thought it was a boost controller, btw) were the problem. They fixed the seal and said it was fine. Two weeks later, the leak is back.

Honestly, just take it to a good mechanic at this point. It'll probably get fixed for a lot cheaper and with a better quality job.
