My dealer called me up on friday and said 3 Evos dropped that night. They are in Auburn, Wa, just about 20 min from the port of Tacoma where all of the Evos are coming into dock. The dealership so far has been great to deal with.

So i went on Saturday and took a look. They received a blue one with the Aero Package, A white one with just the SSS package, and a white with the SSS and Aero package. I got to take the blue one for a test drive. Ive driven an VIII, and you can defiantly feel the extra weight in the X. But when boost kicks in it doesnt seem to matter. Going around curves and corners i didnt take them hard and I wanted to keep the car around or under 4000 rpm since it was someone else's car, but still it was fantastic!

My Evo will be coming in next weekend based on his estimated delivery. Took a few pics of the one in the showroom. Sorry for the crappy photos: camera phone.

What did the price say for the White SSS with the Aero Kit? pic was to small to see :(

^^ again, sorry for the bad photos. This is the one i wished would have come out better. This sticker had the SSS, the Aero Package, the interior pacakge, wheel locks, dest charge for a bit over $38k

of course, there was a hand written sticker next to it that said the final price was around $43K with markup, which of course i am not going to pay.

LOL, why not just go to Socal at that point? They're giving the members here the cars at basically just over invoice.

I thought about that, but it would cost $800 to ship it from socal, then there is the trouble of my trade in and other hassles and cross state buying issues ill need to deal with. The dealer is offering me MSRP, so I figure it worth the extra ~$1k to forgo all of that extra hassle and build a good relationship with the local Mitsu dealer.

What are some of the hassles if you are getting your car from another state?
