Sorry guys this is not my norm Standard but I've thought long and hard............ I'm taking second best, I'm getting a RallyArt instead.
My Assumption: Better gas milliage, runs on regular gas, better insurance rates, under 30K, lower maintanance, 85% the performance or better.
This is my Final Answer

Lancer Ralliart? Regular gas, you mean 87 octane? No way! It will still be boosted, so I bet it will be 91 recommended, if not required.

lower insurance i doubt that its still a turbo car.no such car from the factory will be less in insurance unless its not then you boosted.

Insurance might be a tad cheaper because it's a cheaper car.

It's boosted, so it will still need 91 or better.

Gas mileage might be a tad better.

Maintenance should be about the same.

Either way, it still looks like a good choice for a car. Just don't expect it to be as mod friendly, especially with the SST box.

the ralliart will be like $10k cheaper right?... why wont it be as mod friendly?... isnt it the same tranny as the MR...? im not looking to go too nuts if I go with the ralliart.... maybe get it up from 235 to like 290 at the crank... maybe a TBE and a flash (the flash may get better gas mileage anyways) I have a GTR on order and I want a ralliart for a daily driver (need a real back seat for my kid)

Can someone enlighten a fellow X-Phile on what a TBE and flash is!!

ShahulX

T-turbo
B- back
E- exhaust

ie- all they way from the turbo's (exhaust manifold) back... so, it isnt just a muffler

Flash... reprogramming the ECU (engine computer that controls air fuel ratios, timing, etc...)

I guess so. Its just not like the good'ol days when a man could just buy a car and stick his foot on the gas and not have to worry bout big words like "flash", or acronims.

lol, you can... nothing wrong with not modding the car... its just a fun pasttime... buy it, keep it stock and have fun... heck ...I ruined my evo8 because I did so much too it...after I made its stock to sell it felt like a better car and I almost kept it...

labeling things out as you take apart is always good for those that are not very familiar with things.i do it still not a complete expert i just do so i wont have to go over the same thing again and again.

Well we know the transmission can atleast handle 300 lb ft of torque and 291 hp...Its the same transmission right down to the last nut....Besides I'm sure we could reprogram the TCM with that of the programing in the X and bam...EVO X power in a Ralliart...I didnt say performance I said X power LOL
