I just got my car back from the body shop after a quick stop on a tree. The front and rear clip, hood trunk, right side and both lower rockers were all re-painted. How long should I wait to let the paint cure before re-waxing? I only use top shelf Zymol wax that is 37% carnauba on my cars. I want to do it before I see the snow and salt this winter.

depends...if it's a good shop, that means they buffed it with compound...therefore you don't need to wax for 6 months or so...

Best bet is to give the shop a call and ask if it's been treated already. Most likely it was if they're halfway respectable.

I just called the shop, and they said wait 90 days to let the paint cure. If it is waxed too soon the paint will most likely crack or dull over time. These are the same people though that tried to give me my car back with a dozen problems that had to be addressed. They broke the TPMS on the wheel when they removed the tire to get the grass out of the bead, the trunk though it was always open, the hood was on crooked, they broke a mounting tab a new rocker installing it and it was hanging out... they suck basically. I was asking the community because everyone here seems to be better at everything about cars than the dealers.

What are you talking about? A compound is used for leveling paint - it has nothing to do with protection. They usually apply a layer of glaze that fills in all the imperfections and makes it look good - that will protect the paint but it washes off easily.
If the paint is properly cured, you should have no problems waxing. In the past, most body shops said wait a month to cure but modern finishing techniques have shortened that.

Normally you're supposed to wait the 90 days,
I did that when I got in my last wreck, better safe than sorry...
