Guess we need to figure out how to host all these though.

I told Flagg77 to send me the other files and I will upload them for everyone

Also, I will probably be setting up an FTP account for him, as I did for Gunzo so that he can upload stuff on his own.

I sent him mine.

ok... I am just waiting for an email from him then. And I don't mind hosting all of this stuff. I have almost unlimited bandwidth on my servers along with TBs of storage capacity.

If you want a mirror for these let me know.
I have the space/bandwidth to spare.

Thanks for the mirror offers guys. Definitely appreciated.

We're actually going to go ahead and host this on the evoxservers for our members

I'm going to re-org the posts shortly and fill in some more roms!

Naji (nj1266) from evom shared a "California" (91oct) freebie ROM awhile back. I've been using this for over 3 months and added my own slight modifications over time(including a milder version of Hiboost's cruise mod, slightly richer fueling on some areas where I logged some minor part-throttle knocksums, MIVEC maps, etc.). I can also submit my own revisioned ROM if that's okay with Naji.

Thanks tipoytm. I've pinged Naji for permission to add it to our thread.

Thanks!

Nothing from Naji yet. I will post it with a disclaimer that i will remove if so requested.

Thanks!

It is fine by me. You can add and link my rom or any variation of my rom to your list. :)

I will forward my variation when I get home tonight (or sometime this weekend) and include notes.

Attached is a revised version of Naji's freebie ROM. Some notes:
1.) Slight changes to the timing map to address some minor knocksums in part-throttle areas
2.) Some areas in the AFR map are slightly richer
3.) Slight changes in MIVEC maps in low load areas
4.) Adapted a less-aggressive version of Hiboost's cruise mod

I've used this ROM for 3 months (~2K miles) and constantly log using my netbook setup. This is very reliable and I never logged any knocksums above 2 on accelerations (part-throttle and occasional WOT). I also calculated 25.8 MPG on a 105 mile freeway roundtrip, thanks to Hiboost's cruise mod. Naji's ROM is bulletproof and safe, I highly recommend it to anyone running 91 oct.

Enjoy!

sorry if i'm jacking the thread but just a humble suggestion ;)

+1.
Usually it's not easy to find the most updated xml files for each ROM, so it woud be great to create a database also for them.

Thanks! :shades:

Happy to report that after a year of using Naji's ROM (with my own tweaks), I've had zero problems with my X. Still pulls hard, no warning lights, and getting 19-20MPG average 50/50 city/highway daily commutes to work (no, I don't drive like grandma).
