Looks very nice. It will be a bugger to keep clean though. I had white oz wheels on my evo 2. Had to clean the brake dust off after every trip. thats why I'm sticking with the stock colour or atleast darker colours.

I STILL love the black wheel thing. My 07 GT3 is Carrera White with Gloss Black wheels and I agree it looks hot. But the monochromatic look on the car in this thread also looks kool!

South Coast Mitsu is charging $895 for their customers to have this done. I have a local guy here in NH that does all my wheels. He charges about $100 +/- per wheel depending on spokes and prep time. He does amazing work. He will be getting my X wheels the day after I pick up the car. Gloss black. Just like my 2 other sets of wheels I have for the VIII.

No problem. I will post pics this weekend of the 2 sets I just picked up. He just finished my ROTA P45F's (18x8.5 +30) that were 'time-attack' and re-did them all high gloss black. No more red lip. They will be my winter wheels for the X. He also did a set of 2-piece VOLKS for my friend. We seperated the mesh spoke center and had them done in a multi flake matallic gold. They look incredible. Better than new! You will see the photo shoot on the evom board probably in late March early April. Shoot will take place in Boston. I will post the photos here in 'other cars' section after they are done :shades:

As a former owner of white powder coated rims (Had them on my black Civic SiR) I can honestly say that i'll never get another set of powder coated rims. They're just not worth the hastle, and if the rim gets bent or scraped, you have to refinish the whole rim for over $100 bux, it can get expensive.

WW with White wheels is cool. My WW track wheels will be white 19" TE37''s. The look may be too much for the street but a great look for the track. Cleaning them for me is no biggie. I had white TE37's on a Subaru. I loved them and those things were light and rinsed right off with the wheel cleaner stuff
