GTR is same as Ferrari Scud 1.19.....

Yeah, but the GTR had a completely dry track, whereas these cars raced in damp/wet conditions. Not a fair comparison, im sure both of these cars are just as fast if not faster than a GTR in the dry

Wet track big deal, but it shows you how good the driver the stig is that he can man handle the rwd ZR1 like that. Id love to have the Audi myself.

I would still go with the Audi! Did you see how much the rear plastic moved when he tapped it! The Vette is a death machine wrapped in flimsy plastic. The R8 is a full car!

Love the vid, but I do agree the wet track does not play to the favor of the incredibly powerful RWD ZR1. Easily a sub 1:20 car around that track.

I have a love affair with the Z06 and ZR1.... Not to mention the regular LS3 powered vette with the Z51 suspension package on it is not a bad car either (basic bolt-ons in an LS3 vette will let it run about neck and neck with the LS7 powered Z06)

do you guys have any idea how much of a difference there is between a wet and dry track? it doesn't seem like it. you do understand there is a wet and dry line on racetracks. you'd be a fool to try to stay where all the oil collects and rubber is put down when its raining, i dont care who's driving.

^^LMAO, I know they should really retest the Zr1 on a dry track to get a real time. Id like to see how close it could get to the top. The stig drove the shit out of it in the rain.

jeremy will not be suggesting to do that(re testing ZR1) because he normally hates corvette to have a good numbers.

Rain is the scariest condition to drive in especially the start of a rain when it mixes with the dirt and tire marbeling. Your driving line is so much differnat and your lap times will be so mcuh slower. The zr1 is cool but If I could pic id get the R8 v10 or the new 911 gt3 it's a beast.
