We are glad to announce the start of EvoXForums.com Local Teams. These are designed to be subchapters of the EvoXForums that will be local to you. This is nice because it will allow you to have an organized group of local Evo guys to hang out with, help each other out on installs, have car meets, track events, etc.


As of now, we are looking for some charter teams to get these rolling. Some of the benefits of starting your local team will be:

Team Banner with team name on it

id be down but im on the other end of the state from most everybody cept maybe the guys in the 540

If your team wins this year, you can't enter next year. Similar to the Member Contests.

With the receipts, we are just making sure that the money is being used towards the event. It's a check and balance of sorts.

Basically the way we set it up is like this:

Every year, we'll fully sponsor (within reason) a big meet for one of the local teams. We will cover all relevant expenses that are submitted to us with legit receipts. However, in order to keep things fair, the same team won't be sponsored two years in a row, just to mix things up.

That said, we have not yet fully decided on how we will select the team to sponsor each year, but it will probably be a factor of the size, activity, and quality of the teams.

In essence, yes. Think about it as an extension of EvoXForums that extends to real life meets.

Just remember that if you're going to get a sponsor, they have to be an approved merchant here. So either get them to join up or choose one of our existing merchants, preferably one close to you.
