I just moved to Boston from cali, and I will be going to maywood Mitsubishi to buy my car. Now the tricky part is, should I buy the car under my Cali license or go to the RMV in Boston and get a MA license? I talked to KMX 2 days ago and he told me that an MA license would makes things much more complicating. Does anyone know why and should I just buy the car through my CA dl?

first off, i you are moving to MA, you have to get MA license within a few months (3 i believe) If you want to purchase a car with Cali license you can but you will have to drive it off the lot with a Cali license plate and proof off insurance. You will not be able to register it in MA wi CA license so just get MA license and then buy the car and register in MA. I recently did a MA deal here in NJ and it took them 3 weeks to get the plates back to me. It was horrendous, as the customer could not drive his Outlander back to MA and we had to keep his car in our indoor service area for three weeks.

But the thing is if I buy the car under my CA license, my car would then be using a CA plate and a CA insurance. And I sold my house and everything in CA.....so i'm kinda in limbo right now...
