Got plenty of test cars, and plenty of happy Evo X customers on our stuff. No need for test cars right now. Wallace isn't too close to Boise though lol. I drive all over the Pacific Northwest. Our main office is in Seattle, but I drive down to Portland often since a lot of the guys I do business with are located in Vancouver/Portland. Our aluminum supplier is in Portland as well as our anodizers and powdercoaters. I do a lot of driving LOL. Then you have my parents who are in Wallace/Spokane.

Thought you & maybe Justin might find this interesting. I was taking the Five Mile Rd. overpass to visit my parents & I was surprised to see a PB X GSR coming toward me. So now Justin's not the only one. It also had SSS, but I didn't get a chance to notice if it had aero or if it was a 2010 (didn't get a good look at good look at the back end). It looked pretty stock, exterior wise & I didn't hear a loud exhaust or anything along those lines. I always get dumbfounded & just stare when I see another Evo or Ralliart, since they are hard to come by over here (in the land of Subaru hatches, lol).

LOL. Aspen Sound does really good work. Next time we have a meet (or if I finally get around to an Auto-X event), I'll show you it in person. I definitely recommend. The sub was a bit pricey, but it fits perfectly, is nicely finished, & is beefy. & I'm going to BSU for Graphic Design (I'm a Senior, but I think I may have at least 3 semesters left :()

That's not too bad, but still... it should be free. Have you had an oil change yet? When I went & had them do my front license plate bracket, I also got my 1k oil change. So maybe that's why. Maybe we all should have a quick meet & drive beforehand & when Justin is in town? Then we could get the application going (w/ pictures, etc.). I also think, realistically we can't do an entire Idaho team & have regular meets. It could be a 3+ hour drive for some people, to come to Boise. & I know I wouldn't want to drive to Eastern Idaho more than a couple times in the summer. We should have a SW Idaho team, IMO. Any of you East Idaho or Northern Utah people going to make it to the June 12th meet? Last year a few VIIIs from the Twin Falls area made it to Boise. There was a fun little drive afterward!

Powerman did a pretty good job yesterday. I liked it, but their set wasn't nearly as good as AFI was (when I saw them in January). I got decently drunk & am very glad that I bought the skybox tickets. The opening bands were alright & mad me LOL at times.

It takes 10 minutes or so. Longest part depends on how you decide to attach the leather boot to the plastic surround. I can do it for you whenever you're in Boise. But, it's really easy.

It went real well. It was Erins B-day so they let me get all 6 runs out of the way with the 1st group and then split. It kinda sucked doing it that way cause I didnt know what the guys in my class were going to run. After I posted my times, they had something to chase which is what worried me. But my time ended up being fast enough to win the event :rock: That win puts me in 1st place in the points race. Thank god for the new tires lol.

Seeing what you have done will help me decide what direction to go with mine. A little work was done by my car's previous owner as he left the power wires from the engine bay (100amp) inline fuse connected to monster cable.

The cables used were huge. They even ran a remote line off the OEM deck.
I rigged up a subwoofer amp setup but want to change it all out to eventually have something simular to the RF setup but not be RF. Goal for most of the audio will JL Audio. Dicks Stereo here quoted me 1000.00 to put 2 12's and a 1000watt JL amp. And thats just the subs. If someone can do it better I am always open to input.

Thanks to the recent hiring freeze at our work, I am being give the chance to pull more overtime so its my hope that I can put it towards audio equipment. Nothing wrong with being the best sounding, best looking non evo in Boise :)

Are you looking to use pre-fabricated boxes, like the regular old ported or sealed duals you can buy off of eBay? I have a custom setup done by Aspen Sound, but it was pricey for just 1 sub in a custom box + installation, etc. Great quality work & nice guys though. I blew a sub (due to my own doings) & switched dash kits. They replaced those items & did a couple follow-ups for free.

I was thinking customer setup. I do want it to look good. And I will like have to get a dash kit as well.

So is your amp wiring 0 gauge then (basically as thick as your thumb)? Aspen Sound will try to match whatever pricing you can find on items they stock. I recommend the Scosche dash kit. I had the Metra & it had a horrid gap on the top. Also, what are the subs rated at? 2 12" subs may be overkill, IMO. It would be impressive to look at, if everything was custom. My 12" 1000 watt Clarion is plenty for me & already can annoy me with how the plastic behind the rear seats shake. I could only image how horible 2 high powered 12" subs would be (without dynamat).

So Benny, in case you forget, you should try to find pricing for the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110. Not too many places stock these tires locally, so check tirerack. If I remember correctly, you were looking at 215/40/18. Tirerack has those for $484 + $51 shipping - $50 mail in rebate (good until May 31). So they're only $534 for a set of max performance summer tires. Just something to think about.

Hard part of using it remembering to keep the clips short if in HD. Just so you know what I am there for. I will even give you copies of what I take pictures of or if you want it to show a certain way I would be glad to.

My tail lights are tinted with lamin-x overlays, which I spent a decent amount of :$: on. I like them so much, I'm wanting to make the tint more permanent & spray tint them. But, it would make me sad to just rip the overlays off & throw them away. So, I'm wondering if there are any local people that want to trade tail lights. This person would obviously get the overlay tails for free & be able to experiment if they actually like the tinted lights or not. If they don't, they merely peel the tint off & go back to how the lights were originally. Any takers?

The attachment I sent you is the ATR package, you need to install it on a PC so you can re save the map and use the updater and manager thats in the ATR package with your serial embedded.

Use Bootcamp or buy Parallels for $70 or less & run Vista, 7, or XP if you have to. You can partition the drives to allow for as little or as much HD space on the Windows & Mac OS as you want. Parallels allows you to run Windows as a program, so it pops open like Safari or Firefox would, while still allowing a desktop like regular Windows & allowing you to access Windows programs like normal (using the Start button & such).

So I ordered a Chargespeed CF replacement for the chrome on the MR's front... in the middle of May. I was told Chargespeed (in CA) had it in stock. Turns out they really didn't. I was then given an ETA of the first week of June & never received a call. So, I called today & it won't get here until the end of the month, since it's coming straight from Japan. This makes me sad :( I spent $325 with nothing to show for it, atm.

It has nothing to do with JDM. ChargeSpeed is the only company that produces that piece in CF. I'm pretty sure you know where I stand on the JDM deal & what not (from an artist's standpoint). If another company had that piece out for cheaper & it was of sound quality, I would buy it. That piece has no real design to it, IMO, since it is just the same factory design, but in CF. If it were a kit that took some imagination & creativity to produce, I would not buy the replica. & if that item were $1k I just wouldn't buy it at all. /rant :D

& I do not really care nor do I (at all) look down on people that buy replicas. Hell, Noah has Rotas. I just wouldn't buy those, especially since the Works aren't that much more $.
